It’s not an everyday thing that we get to test out impressive cool drones with cutting-edge features. I was NERVOUS like a child meeting Santa when I received this Avatar RC Deluxe Banshee from Zing Toys. Equipped with “integrated bionics, aerodynamics, and precision machinery technology” - this toy provides loads of incredible fun! 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) Realistic & Bird-Like Flying Movement - How can anyone resist this gorgeous, dragon-like banshee from the visually-stunning Avatar? What captured me immediately is the realistic and rapid wings-flapping movement. It feels natural, bird-like, amazingly real. It replicates the flying motion of a bird - it soars through the air in perfect straight-line, circles gracefully, makes a U-turn in beautiful agility, maintains its altitude (with either height limit mode or free-to-play mode), elegantly avoids obstacles with its 6-axis sensor, and can travel up to 200ft away. I love the complex azure blue appearance and intricate patterns that uniquely belongs to this majestic creature from Pandora. 

(2) Easy To Control - I was genuinely surprised when I saw my six-year-old gently tossed and controlled the movement of the banshee with such ease. I didn’t expect to see so many thrilling tricks, all within the command of a few buttons - speed adjustment of flapping-wings, roaring sound-effect, changing of directions, “emergency” landing, and many other manoeuvres. The greatest thing is - we get to run around outdoor (yes, exercise!), chasing the banshee and picking it up from wherever it landed. 

(3) Light Weight & Durable - The Banshee is light-weight, with slightly pliable frame for the wings, adjustable tail (for manual speed adjustment), and kite-like soft fabric feature to withstand multiple “crashing” or any aggressive play. Our flying practices involve many uncontrolled downward-divings, and we can testify the durability of this toy. 

(4) Rechargeable Batteries - Included within are 2 lithium batteries, USB charger, remote-control, and a mini screwdriver. I love that the Banshee battery is rechargeable (fully recharge within 20 minutes) and provides around 10 minutes of flight time each time. I also love the minimalist cardboard box.

Stikbot Mega Dinos, By Zing Toys - REVIEW

Today, I’m going to share about this Stikbot Mega Dinos from Zing Toys, another of our favourite latest collectible that would absolutely makes any dinosaur lover overwhelmed with excitement! 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) StikBot Styled Dinosaurs - This Mega Dinos set has all the fantastic features that you can find in the usual StikBot figures: limbs with suction cups, articulated joints, movable and rotatable body parts, and posable styles that can stay stagnant on flat surface (especially on glass or anywhere glossy - vertical or horizontal). But the greatest thing about it: these are awesome, fearsome dinosaurs that look too irresistibly cool! Included in this set is a green Brontosaurus with long, thin, adjustable neck that can bend down or raise up; a blue Carnotaurus with tiny horns and short arms; and a red T-Rex with big jaw and serrated teeth. I am loving all the rotatable and flexible parts, the way the tails flapping upwards and downwards and at different angles, moveable legs that can create “running” positions, opening and closing jaws for a big roaring scene! 

(2) Semi-Translucent- I love that the dinosaurs are semi-translucent with visible elastics within, and the details of the spotty and stripy bodies. 

(3) StikBot Studio 2.0 App - This set is perfect to create a marvellous prehistoric blockbuster full of actions and dangers! All you need is to download the free StikBot Studio 2.0 App for all the magic to happen! The App has all features needed to create stop-motion films - in-built sound effects, music, time-adjustment, helpful tutorials on how to create simple actions, and the ability to string multiples photos together into animated clips. Film-making is an exercise that requires commitment and patience; it needs techniques, time, big imagination, and a playful heart. We love this new film-making experience and we can’t wait to check out what else we can do with it! 

(4) Sustainable Packaging- I love the sustainable recyclable cardboard packaging. 

I’m loving the versatility and exciting features of this toy!

We discovered the magic of StikBots around 2 years back when we got hold of our very first “StikBot and StikPet Family Set”. Stikbots have always been something we love, and I was so super stoked to receive the “StikBot Megabot Complete Set” from Zing Toys recently. I can’t wait to tell you more about this current obsession of my two kids! 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) Flexible + Posable Figures - StikBots are known for their unique posable figures that can do crazy stunts with their articulated joints, flexible body parts, and feet / hands with suction-cups! This set includes 3 mini figures of blue, orange and red, ready to fight villains with their spectacular glass-climbing, upside-down handstand, karate kick and other gravity-defying moves! Yes, they adhere to almost any (especially non-porous or glossy) flat-surface. These figures are perfect for imaginative play! 

(2) Cool Mega Machines- We love the 3 Mega machines - blue Avalanche has steady wheeled base, mighty muscle-arms with suction cups that can raise and swing, and rotating mid-body. Green Mega-power Knockout has gigantic suction-cup feet, flexible punchy arms, and fuel-pack. Red Mega-fast Turbo Cycle has 2 front-wheels that can be lifted and transformed into flying jet, a large wheel that spins freely, and a pair of removable exhausts. StikBots can take charge of the super vehicles by riding on the control seats in style! 

(3) Film-Making App- If you have a budding film-makers at home, they can learn to make stop motion animations using the free StikBot Studio 2.0 App. I love the sound effects, music, time-adjustment, helpful tutorials on how to create simple actions (like cartwheel, running and waving), and how the app strings multiples photos together into animated clips. Film-making requires commitment and patience, and we are pleased with the new experience! 

(4) Sustainable Packaging- I love the sustainable recyclable cardboard packaging.

We are counting down to Christmas! What perfect timing to receive this TreeMendous Ornament Decorator and Refill Pack Combo from Zing Toys for a review (thank you!). We are genuinely impressed with how smooth this clever gadget works! 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) Innovative Device- The set comes with 9 plain Christmas baubles, 8 marker pens, patent-pending design TreeMendous Ornament Decorator (operated with 3 AA batteries), and a refill pack of additional 12 ornaments. The concept reminds me of a spinning pottery wheel. I am loving how TreeMendous adopted the traditional technique and invented such smart device that can be used by young kids. First, secure the ornament onto the TreeMendous machine by aligning the slotted groove on the specially-designed bauble with the indicated lines on the device. Switch on Treemendous, apply the tip of the marker to the spinning ornament, and watch the magic performs! We were surprised by how easy it is to create amazingly-looking bulbs that look exciting and artistically appealing! I love its uniqueness, the smooth motion, and ease of use. 

(2) Unique Ornaments- The decorator creates ornaments that are practical, personalised, one-of-a-kind and fit for the season. I love that each of the decorated ornament turns out different and unique. They are beautiful keepsakes that can be kept for many years to come. I love how TreeMendous encourages meaningful family activity where each member can take turn to customise our special ornament before hooking them up to the tree. 

(3) Non-Toxic Marker Pens- The 8 marker pens (red, orange, yellow, lighter green, dark green, blue, purple and pink) are non-toxic and have no overwhelming odour. 

(4) Refill Pack- The original TreeMendous set includes 9 baubles. Refill pack in 12 can be purchased separately. It means we can have more decorations for the tree, or even make the decorating activity a yearly tradition!
