Crok Crok Crok, By Bioviva - REVIEW

Nature / Type:             Board game

Rating:                        ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:     5 year-old ++

Who would love this:  Young kids that love speed games

“Crok Crok Crok”- a game that blends quick thinking with memory skills—perfect for curious little minds! Created by Bioviva, it’s a delightful way to introduce kids to the eating habits of their favorite animals (and human!). Big thanks to Divisible by Zero for sending us a copy!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) A Fast-Paced Game - Collect 5 Food Tokens To Win

This game turns mealtime into playtime! Five friendly animals—and one hilariously hungry little boy—gather around the table, where a colorful spread of apple, egg, carrot, banana, and snow peas awaits. Roll the die to see who’s up: if it’s the monkey, grab that banana fast! The rabbit munches on peas and carrots, the worm wriggles toward apples, and the donkey enjoys both apples and carrots. The pig is a bit pickier—no bananas for him—but he’ll eat just about everything else. And the boy? He’s a total foodie—he’ll eat it all! Players race to grab the correct foods based on each character’s diet. Collect all five food tokens to win! It’s fast-paced game that usually ends in giggles… or dramatic groan of a sore loser!

(2) Delightful Food Theme With Chunky Food Pieces

I love the delightful food theme and the irresistible, chunky wooden food pieces—perfect for little hands to grab! Inside the box, you’ll find 6 charming wooden food toys, 30 colorful food tokens, a sturdy wooden die, a clever foldable guide card, and game rules. The guide card stands up on the table like a mini menu, making it super simple for kids to see who eats what at a glance. Everything feels high-quality and built to last, a truly tactile treat.

(3) Simple Game With A Sneaky Challenge

Don’t be fooled by its simple look—this game packs a sneaky challenge! Kids might just outmatch the grown-ups with lightning-fast grabs. Watch out for the human—he eats everything, so speed is key if you want to win in a single turn! Want the snow pea token? You’ve got to grab both peas at once! But choose carefully—grab the wrong food, and you’ll have to give a token back.

(4) Eco-Friendly Game Proudly Made In France

Best of all, it’s made by Bioviva—a trusted name for eco-friendly fun. Proudly made in France, their games use recycled materials, sustainable wood, plant-based inks, and minimal packaging. It’s a game you can feel great about, inside and out!

Mission Jungle, By Bioviva - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:             Board Game

Rating:                       ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:   7 year-old ++

Who would love this: Nature enthusiasts and trivia-lovers

Are you a nature enthusiast who gets excited about carnivorous plant, Amozonian forest, and adventurous expedition? Check out Mission Jungle by Bioviva! Thank you Divisible by Zero for proving a copy for review!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) A Game With Fun Trivial Questions And Tactical Moves

Mission Jungle is a board game packaged with fun trivia questions, tactical moves, reflexes and speed, bluff and humour. Included within are a hexagonal game board, 39 jungle cards with questions / challenges, expedition / super expedition cards, Konga cards, off-limit card, “Pennants”, 2 multi-coloured dice, and a top secret envelope. In each round, players select and simultaneously reveal an Expedition Card showing one of the 7 chosen sites. The site chosen by the “Guardian” of that round is “Off-Limits” - any players who have selected that site will have to skip a turn. The rest of the players will take turn to tackle a challenge set out in a Jungle Card. Player who succeeds in a challenge claims the clues, and can prevent another player taking the same site. I love the interesting gameplay and twist incorporated into a “pub quiz” / challenge game.

(2) Fascinating Questions On Nature Subjects + Challenges

The jungle cards include a range of multiple-choice questions and challenges. The questions are specific, fascinating, and often zoom into the rare and unusual nature subjects. There are questions about the Philippines galeopithicus (a lemur), Kimaru (a plant-eating piranha) in Guyana, and Taga palm in South American Equatorial forest. There are also selections of challenges such as throw a dice into a lid, find your way with eyes closed, “sniff” and guess a player etc.

(3) Konga Game To Break A Tie

We love playing the “Konga” game (which is used to decide the “winner” when two or more players selected the same expedition card / or have a tie). To play this mini game, roll the two multi-coloured dice, and race to touch the Konga card with colours correspond to the dice.

(4) Storyline With A Mission & Top Quality Components From Recycled Materials

I love the mission to uncover clues about a secret expedition, and the top secret envelope as prize for the winner. I also love that the game is designed and manufactured in France, with components made from recycled materials printed using vegetable-based inks.

Bioviva - The Game, By Bioviva - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Trivia Game / Board Game

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Adults and kids that love fun facts about nature/ environment

“Bioviva - The Game” from Bioviva is for the SERIOUS trivia fans with in-depth knowledge about nature. If you are a nature enthusiast who knows (or interested to know) about salamander, atmospheric temperature, and carnivorous plants, then this game is for YOU! (Thank you Divisible by Zero for providing this!)

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) Trivia Game In The Form Of Strategy Board Game

Bioviva is a trivia game, but packaged with refreshing rules and strategic moves. Unfold the solid game board, you will see a world map with clearly-marked grid of vertical and horizontal lines. Each continents are further divided into different natural regions (for example, a darker green area represents “wet tropical forest”, and sandy yellow area is marked as “deserts”). To win this game, players roll a die, move a particular number of squares on the map (in any chosen directions), answer a question correctly, and aim to collect “Eco Points” of the right colours as specified on the destination card. I love the little strategy element incorporated into a “pub quiz”game.

(2) Trivia Game With 800 Fun Facts/ Questions (About Nature/ Environment)!

The game includes a total of 800(!) detailed question cards, complete with answers and explanations. The questions are fascinating, obscure, and oh-so-tough. This is not your usual “feel-good” quiz of general knowledge. The questions are specific, and often zoom into the rare and unusual subjects. “Which birds are capable of singing 60 different melodies?”,“Which is the only reptile capable of moving each eyeball separately?”. Sometimes you get multiple choices; sometimes, it is “true” or “false”.

(3) Love The Fun Eco-Point Cards

If a question is correctly answered, the player is entitled to an Eco-Point Card which sets out a scenario, follows by the Eco-Points that a player is earning (or losing). For example, a player earns 2 points for not using pesticide in garden, but loses a point for dumping old fridge in a ditch. The cards are fun to read, give us a few laughs, and teach us about environmental-protection in a subtle way.

(4) Board Game Made of Recyclable Material

The game is designed and manufactured in France. The components are made from recycled materials and is recyclable, and printed using vegetable-based inks. The pawns and die are made of certified wood sourced from sustainable forests.

Operation Survival, By Bioviva - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Unique board game with a "survival" theme

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Adventure lovers who want to learn more about surviving in hostile environments!

We love watching “You v Wild”, an interactive TV programme revolves around helping the character making life-and-death decisions, navigating harsh real-life environments to survive and complete missions. I was excited when I discovered this “Operation Survival” game from Bioviva that teaches kids about survival in hostile territory! Thank you Divisible by Zero for providing a copy for review!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) 360 Thrilling Survival Questions - The game starts with a dangerously thrilling setting - a plane crash has just occurred, and players are thrown into a remote no-man land. Our aim? To survive! The set includes 120 “Survival” question cards (with a total of 360 questions). Player that answers the most questions correct, beats the rest in challenges, and accumulates the most points, wins. The questions include multiple-choice, true-or-false, “guess the footprints” / silhouette of a creature etc. Answers and brief explanations are contained at the reverse side of the cards. We learned useful knowledge and skills such as what to do when a shipwreck occurred far from land (the advice is to stay still in order to avoid energy loss), and what to do when ice cracking beneath us (the answer is to lie down on stomach to redistribute the weight over a large surface). Awesome survival tips!

(2) Challenges & "Actions" - When more than one player got an answer correct, players need to perform a challenge to break the tie. The challenges include matching silhouette with the strange creatures in reference sheet, taking turn to name animals starting with a selected letter, and running around the table and be the first to return to the seat. Love the “actions” element!

(3) Strategy - The set also comes with 25 cardboard tiles and 5 adventurer’s pawns. Each of the tile depicts a natural habitat (savannah, mountains, volcano etc) and marked with survival points. Players need to strategise movement in each round to gain the highest score.

(4) Sustainable Components - The game is made in France. The components are printed on recycled, recyclable paper and cardboard, using non toxic ink. The wooden pawns are made from beech trees harvested in managed French forest.

We LOVE this game!
