This Magic Rainbow Ball gifted by Tastic Toys has been keeping me immensely intrigued. At first glance, the colourful puzzle looks deceptively simple, but wait till you get your hands active and moving around this easily graspable ball. It’s fascinating, addictive and truly clever! 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) Colourful & Addictive Fidget Toy + Puzzle - Remember the nostalgic and classic Rubik Cube with its frustrating six colours mini dice-like components locked within a cube that can get you busy for eternity? This Magic Rainbow Ball is a much “easier” and “resolvable” version of Rubik Cube, suited for younger kids, but equally engaging for adults. With only just 11 beads of variety of colours and 12 holes, this magical puzzle in the shape of a ball has a straightforward colour-matching rule that even my two-year-old can understand. I mean, how hard can it be, RIGHT? Well, that’s where the catch is! Once the beads are jumbled up, the pliable foam within would keep each beads securely locked within their respective slots. The only beads that can be moved are the five adjacent to the empty hole. The configuration immediately changes each time a bead is passed to a new location. We need to keep relocating a bead from its already “correct position” (just like a Rubik Cube) in order to strategically solve the puzzle. It’s a process of scrambling, searching, analysing, and planning. It takes an adult a few minutes to get to the solution (and trust me, you would want to play it for another round!), and a younger preschool kids a little more time. This is a great toy to train up problem-solving, colour recognition, and hand-coordination skills. 

(2) Fidget Toy With Audibly Sound - This is a perfect “fidget” toy when I need a little (not too exhausting) brain exercise while keeping my hands busy. I find the audibly “clicking” sound of the moving beads kind of satisfying to hear (although I suspect some people might find it annoying). 

(3) Compact & Perfect For Travel - I love the compact size for easy portability. The ball also comes with a removable black carry strap. 

(4) Cool & Trendy Design - I find the soccer-ball-lookalike design really trendy. Tastic Toys  offers selections of white and black.

Rotating Disc Fidget Spinner, By Tastic Toys - REVIEW

Who would love this: Fidget toy lovers & collectors / anyone who loves a unique brainteaser 

I had never seen nor played with a Rotating Disc Fidget Spinner in my life, so I’m truly grateful to Tastic Toys for agreeing to send us one for review. I’m still in the midst of mastering the techniques and figuring out the magic behind this bewildering puzzle. But as of now, I’m hopelessly addicted to this smart and spin-able fidget toy! 

Why I love ❤️ it: 

(1) Fidget Toy + Brainteaser - I love the exciting design of this easily-manageable, double-sided turntable puzzle. Both the front and rear discs have 5 slots separately, with each slot being able to contain up to 3 beads. The aim is to scramble, align, and swap the coloured beads from front to back, and vice versa, in order to “restore” them into the original arrangement according to their corresponding colours (e.g. 3 beads of similar colours in each of the slot frame). They are a total of 29 magic beans in 5 colours to be moved around and re-arranged (6 blue, 6 purple, 6 green, 6 red, 5 pink). With the constantly changing two-sided configurations, this is undoubtedly a challenging puzzle that can keep both adults and kids engaged for hours. I love that it encourages logical thinking, trains up hand-coordination, and educates kids on colour recognition and matching. The boy gets really proud every time when he manages to place 3 beads of the same colour in a row, and he finds the “back-to-back” challenge kind-of cool. 

(2) It Spins! - The super-fast 360 degree spinning motion is really fascinating to watch. Just like a usual fidget spinner, the rotating discs are held together with a central axle, with weight distributed equally from the centre. When we give the two discs a slight push, they rotate with great inertia and impressive speed for quite many seconds with an audible beads-moving sound. There is an unspeakable calming effect produced by this rotational movement. I love how this smart gadget combines a magic bean puzzle and a fidget spinner into one trending toy. 

(3) Soft Lovely Colours - I love the soft pastel colour of the discs. I have a sweet salmon pink spinner, and Tastic Toys also offers a sky-blue option of this awesome toy.

Stress Relief Sticky Balls, by Tastic Toys

I recently discovered this unique online toy store called Tastic Toys ; When I looked at its website, what captured me instantly is the comparatively small array of product selections, but each toy and puzzle made me pause and eagerly wanting to learn more. They are rare-to-find, probably hot-trending in TikTok at the moment (which I for sure wouldn’t know much about), and have so much interesting features pending to be explored. So when Tastic Toys agreed to send me a box of miscellaneous innovative toys and magic bean puzzles in exchange for review, I WAS THRILLED! For today, I’m going to share about these super squishy and addictive 5.5cm Stress Relief Sticky Balls. 

Why I love ❤️ this toy: 

(1) Versatile Sensory Toy: This is a versatile sensory toy that goes beyond for just being squishy and sticky and really fun to squeeze. We can throw it at any hard surface without fear of collateral property damage or accidental “ouchy” moment for kids (the advantage of being so weightlessly soft). Their inherent stickiness create various potentials; we can watch the balls stick to each other in a lump of tower before collapsing one at a time, or throw it against a wall or glass window surface and see how it slides down in fascinating slow-motion. 

(2) Calming: When my two-year-old threw an angry “nap-deprived” tantrum recently, she asked for “sticky balls”. I was amazed at the immediate calming effect these balls produce. I read that these tear-resistant fidget balls can reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and are helpful for kids with ADD / ADHD, and people with OCD, high stress or anxiety level. 

(3) Glow in Dark: The balls GLOW IN THE DARK! I’m loving how these balls can turn themselves into luminescent orbs emitting beautiful lights in fluorescent colours in the dark. (4) Like any sticky thing, the balls attract dust and all sorts of random impurities. I find the washing part really therapeutic; once the balls get a great rub under running water, they would restore into their original sticky selves. (5) According to its website, the balls are made of high‑quality plastic material, nontoxic, and free of BPA.
