Turtle, by Eugy - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Craft kit made of recyclable materials

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  6 year-old ++

Who would love this: Animals + art & craft lovers

Sea turtles are stunning, well-loved aquatic animals, ocean’s best navigators, graceful in style, and amazingly resilient. This “038 Turtle” Is the second cardboard craft kit from Eugy that we have tested. Similar to the Tasmanian Devil set, this is an artistically designed model made with sustainable principles in mind!

Why I love ❤️ this set:

(1) 20 Minutes Craft Activity - We love the straightforward and easy-to-learn assembling process. Push out the precisely-cut and individually-labelled cardboard pieces from the perforated sheets, apply glue, and join the pieces together consecutively on top of each other in numerical sequence. I love that it takes a quick 20-minutes to complete the model, and the outcome is a beautiful baby turtle with refined details and 3D dimension, completes with meticulous multiple layers. We absolutely love the careful details and clever thoughts included in the design: two beady eyes that glisten, slightly lifted head that pokes out from the shell, realistic front flippers that extend to both sides, and hexagonal pattern of the scutes on the shell. I love that the completed model sits so adorably at the palm of our hands, just like a real-life baby turtle.

(2) Eco-Friendly Materials - I love that this is an environmental-friendly product made from recyclable and biodegradable cardboards, printed with eco-friendly ink, with non-toxic glue included, all contained in a compact box. Eugy conforms with international safety standards, and is the winner of the distinctive and much-coveted Red Dot Award 2022 in recognition of its high design quality!

(3) Donation to Sea Turtle Foundation - My favourite part? Eugy donates 10% direct sales profit of the Turtle EUGY from New Zealand, Australia, United States and online to the Sea Turtle Foundation (a non-profit organisation focused on Research, Education, and Action). You gotta love a brand that plays a part in conserving the endangered species!

I love Eugy - a brand that started as a mission to help connect people to nature and wild. I love that it has a wide range of exciting models for animal lovers, from “ocean deep to sky high, prehistoric to mystical”. It’s hard not to fall in love with Eugy!

Tiger’s Wonderful Journey, by Mideer - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Beautiful art puzzle with "orange" theme

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Puzzle lovers!

It’s the tangerine’s dream, it’s flaming orange, it’s the wild wild jungle in burning and explosive colours! I can’t tell you enough how much I love the combination of art and puzzle, and I think Mideer has done it perfectly again! Thank you for sending this Artist Puzzle - “Tiger’s Wonderful Journey” over. I’m extremely impressed!

Why I love ❤️ this toy:

(1) Intensely Orange Artwork - The artwork is extracted from a quirky picture book called “It’s A Great Big Colourful World” by the amazing Belgian illustrator Tom Schamp . Each spread of pages depicts the adventure of Otto the cat and Leon and chameleon’s discovery journey of colours, including this powerful and intensely orange world that has been turned into a 240-pieces puzzle! An enormous Bengal Tiger dominates a world bursting with fanciful, whimsical, vivid orange of random objects, unexpected surprises, and clever puns. We have a “Tiger Woops” roaming in pride, a “Fanta Claus” zooming past in eccentric juice bottle, and a “Smashing pumpkin” next to a cauldron-stirring potion-making witch with a pointed traffic cone hat. The artwork is overflowing  with witty humour, brilliant illustrations, all contained in an unapologetically orange-tinted universe. Kids and adults can spend hours scrutinising and exploring the delightful, busy and intricate details of this beautiful puzzle cum artwork!

(2) Quality - Like many other Mideer puzzles, the quality of the puzzle pieces is top-notch, thick and durable, all nicely packed in a solid cardboard box.

(3) 240 Pieces - The 240-pieces puzzle in standard ribbon cut is probably more suited for older kids and adults; it’s challenging but not “impossible”. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of picking up puzzle pieces showing miniature, unrelated yet distinctive things (tomato soup, spaghetti bolognese, orange crane, and traffic light?) that come together eventually and assembled into a feast of riotous orange masterpiece.

(4) Includes Accessories - The set also comes with a tiger enamel pin, a glue, scraper, and an artwork poster.

Dinos Explorer Puzzle, by Londji - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Creative puzzle with information wheels

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Adults / older kids who love puzzle + dinosaurs

When you get a Londji puzzle, you can rest assured that it is not just an “ordinary” puzzle. Londji sprinkles excitement in its products, and dusts them with magic of surprises! We are so glad to receive this “Dinos Explorer Puzzle” from Antipoda Co . This is an absolute must-have for any aspiring palaeontologists and dinosaur fanatics!

 Why I love ❤️ this puzzle:

(1) Realistic Dinosaurs with Details - I love the realistic-looking illustrations - dinosaurs full of meticulous details, fossilised skeletons and skulls that accentuate the prominent features of each of the unique species. I love the mellow colours and the beige background, which gives the puzzle an “ancient” pre-historic feel. This is a medium-sized puzzle with 350 pieces - a more challenging range suitable for adults and older kids. We learned so much by admiring the careful details: Lirainosaurus with its long slender neck and a body protected by armour of bony plates; Stygimoloch with its distinguished spikes and knobs on skull, Gallimimus with its ostrich-like features and a fancy long tail. We also learned about herizinosaur (a dinosaur with super cool and robust long claws), and Olorotitan (an elegant dinosaur with fan-shaped crest jutting out of the back of the skull).

(2) Information Wheels - More Dinosaur Facts! - If that’s not enough, the set also includes 3 innovative information wheels. Adjust and position the cardboard wheels at the right angle, direction, and fixed on the eye of the dinosaur, and you will get to learn new facts about these majestic beasts: what they ate, how fast they ran, how heavy and long they were! For example, we learned that the terrific T Rex is 12m long and weighed around 8000 kg; Spinosaurus survived on fish and moved 34 km/h.

(3) Recycled Materials & Quality - I love the gorgeous sturdy box and cotton drawstring bag - perfect for keeping the puzzle pieces and all the exciting accessories at one place. I love the thick puzzle pieces, heirloom quality, and the quirky rounded zig-zag borders. I also love the made-in-Spain quality, and the FSC paper and recycled cardboard materials. As usual, Londji toys meet European safety standards. They are beautiful, artistic and so pleasing in so many levels!

Cupcake Academy, By Blue Orange - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Cooperative matching game with a cupcakes theme

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Cooperative game + board game lovers

We came from a competitive family that treats our game night a little too seriously 🤣. It’s refreshing to have a change for once to see the guests working collaboratively to solve common puzzles like true comrades. This “Cupcake Academy” from Blue Orange brings out a positive quality that I didn’t know exists within these bunch of cousins 🤣🤣🤣. Thank you Leisure Learning for providing this game to us for a review!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) Cooperative Game - This game reminds me of a cooperative version of “Gobblet” and “Eureka”; the objective is to re-arrange the coloured components to match the challenge cards by covering up the smaller items using the larger pieces, all under the theme of scrumptious, hard-to-resist cupcakes! The set comes with 20 cups (in 5 different colours and sizes), 12 personal “plates”, 1 “shared plate”, 60 challenge cards, an achievement checklist, and a 7-minute sand timer. Players work simultaneously, stacking and moving their cups using only their personal plates and the shared plate, with the aim of matching the illustration depicted on the selected card, whilst bearing in mind a few rules (eg bigger cups on top of smaller cups, not touching a cup on another player’s plate, but we can pick or pass a cup to another player using the shared plate). It’s frantic, a little chaotic, extremely noisy, very panicky (the sand timer is running fast!). At the end of each game, we clapped, cheered, and gave each other high-fives. It’s a feel-good, uplifting game that promotes teamwork and good communication.

(2) Great Components - As per usual Blue Orange standard, the components are beautifully-made. The round, fluted plastic cup are vibrant in colours and look exactly like baking molds.

(3) Different Variations - I love that this game can be played by 2, 3 or 4 players (or independently if you use a bit of imagination). The game is confusing for young kids (my five-year-old finds this game “too difficult”), but the older kids and adults would have a great time solving these hectic and unique puzzles. I also love that this game has “expert” variations (eg completing the assignments using non-dominant hand and without speaking).

Pentago, By MindTwister - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Tic-Tac-Toe Game with a "twist"

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  8 year-old ++

Who would love this: Quick table game / board game lovers

Remember the nostalgic game of Tic-Tac-Toe? Noughts and crosses, paper-and-pencil, 3x3 grid? Leisure Learning recently sent us a super intriguing game called Pentago which reminds us of Tic-Tac-Toe, but MUCH BETTER! It has a cool game board, beautiful components, and a (literal) “TWIST” in the rules!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) Twistable Game Board - This very ingeniously designed game comes with a rules book, a 6x6 board comprises of four twistable 3x3 sub-boards, 18 blacks marbles, 18 white marbles, and a lid. Just like a classic Tic-Tac-Toe where 2 players race to get a row of 3 “X” or “O”; in Pentago, the object is to create a row of 5 marbles of the same colours, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, that spans across two spin-able quadrants. The only obvious twist: each time when you place a marble, you need to rotate one of the four moveable squares by 90 degrees, either clockwise or anti-clockwise. This twisting move often dynamically and unexpectedly changes the entire outcome of the game. The concept is deceptively simple, yet perplexingly complex.

(2) Awesome Game Components - The components are seriously, truthfully beautiful! The black and white glass marbles are cold and smooth, solid and weighty. The board comes with an aesthetically-pleasing red translucent lid that keeps all marbles securely stored within the board for convenient portability. The board and the inward part of the lid have indentions in them to hold the marbles snugly. Each moveable sections of the board can effortlessly slide out and rotate towards either direction. The components are incredibly durable, well-made, and appealing to the eyes!

(3) Quick Game - Pentago makes an amazing family game, with simple rules that can be leant within minutes. My five-year-old loves it, I love it. It’s an educational, logical, easily-graspable abstract strategy game that can grow with the kids. It has fantastic replay value, takes just minutes to complete each round, and can be enjoyed by the entire family. I love that this game involves an excellent mix of strategy, planning, foresight, reaction, unpredictability, and hint bit of luck.

Eco Hut & Water Wheel, by Explore Nook - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Open-ended wooden toy for water or imaginative play

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  3 year-old ++

Who would love this: Kids that enjoy water play or create their imaginative fairy land/ small world

The “Eco Hut & Water Wheel” from Explore Nook is probably the most enchanting open-play resources I have ever seen! It’s beautifully-crafted with meticulous design, versatile and clever, a fantastic toy for any kids with BIG imagination and passionate curiosity!

Why I love ❤️ this toy:

(1) Discovering The Beauty Of Water - This irresistible package includes a double-storey Eco Hut with water channel attached to the roof, removable water funnel, mini water wheel with separable stand, and a wooden stairs. The pieces are easy to set-up; we are mesmerised by the movement and simple chain reaction created by the nature of water. We watch water descending the spiralling funnel in elegant circular motion, before it gently touches the channel and glides its way to the edge in unimpeded swiftness. It then slips through the tiny gap and flows down in quick speed, giving the wheel a vital push and strong spin! We love exploring, experimenting and experiencing the beauty of water with this beautiful toy!

(2) Wooden Eco Hut - I love the creative combination of eco hut and water play into one single set! I can’t stop admiring the simple and minimalist architectural design, hints of vintage feel, completes with detailed crafting for some unique touches. I absolutely love the exciting parallel ridges and grooves texture on the facade wall and roof. The kids brought out our Fairies & Gnomes Finger Puppet Set from Tara Treasures and created their imaginative world with “giant” rotating water wheel, eccentric miniature characters, big round “chimney” (or water tank), removable stairs, and double-levelled Eco hut!

(3) Quality Material - I love the wooden material. Explore Nook products are made of sustainably-sourced timber, each with its own inimitable DNA and natural prints, finished with smooth artisan craftsmanship of impressive quality. This is a sturdy, durable, and lovingly-made,  heirloom-quality toy that would stay for a long, long time.

(4) Versatility - I love that this is a versatile toy that can be used indoor or outdoor, with or without water, with separable pieces that can be adjusted and re-arranged. I love the limitless play options!

Love this 100% !

Kid Storybook Torch, By Mideer - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Torch for story-time sessions in the dark

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  3 year-old ++

Who would love this: Fairy-tale and bedtime story lovers

Story time, the magical moment where pumpkin transformed into carriage, Pinocchio met his fairy, and gingerbread man escaped from oven. Mideer sent me this “Kid Storybook Torch” recently, and it’s such an instant HIT! I love how it makes story time unique and exciting in a fresh and different way.

Why I love ❤️ this toy:

(1) Innovative Torch - I love how versatile this clever torch is! It’s a flashlight, a story projector, and a “night light” with illumination of stars and moon. I love how easy it is to change the light mode, to switch it on and off, with just a press of button (one button, three applications). The kids have been using the torch in their “shadow puppet show”, dinosaur movie scenes, and indoor “campfire” night. The torch makes things feel “adventurous” yet calming at the same time. The kids created their “daylight” and “night light” using the interchangeable function of the torch. According to the instructions, the light will automatically turn off after 15 minutes without operation, which I think is an awesome feature!

(2) Projection Discs - The box comes with 8 miniature projection discs that can be inserted into the torch slot, and matching story cards (in both English and Mandarin): Cinderella, Thumbelina, Pinocchio, The Happy Prince, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, The Gingerbread Man, The Enormous Turnip, I Want To Go To Space. Each disc contains 8 pictures that can be rotated and projected onto the wall or ceiling. The set comes with a hinged ring that binds the cards in an organised way. The stories are written in a short and succinct way, probably not your most well-written script, but they give us an idea on how to expand our stories and be creative in our narration in the dark. I also love the adjustable focal length: The farther the distance is, the larger the image projected.

(3) Torch Design - I love the lantern torch design. It has a handle for easy portability. It is trendy in blue, with interesting “night time” related images on it (sleepy bunnies, constellation, snoring bears, fireflies etc). It also comes with 3 LR 44 batteries.

(4) Organised Box - I love the box that keeps everything together with a magnetic closure lid.

Let’s Play Shop, by Knowledge Builder - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Fantastic educational resources to learn about money

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  5 year-old ++

Who would love this: Parents who are looking for money-learning resources + pretend play lovers

My kids LOVE to “play shop”; our house is constantly in a mess with furniture being re-arranged and toy-groceries lined up as display. I am really grateful to Knowledge Builder for providing this set of “Let’s Play Shop” to us for review. This game completes our pretend store set-up, and the kids have great fun learning about money through engaging games!

Why I love ❤️ this set:

(1) Realistic Aussie Play Money - I love the realistic-looking play money in Aussie currency! If you are looking for quality educational resources to learn about money denomination, buying-and-selling, and cash-counting in the Aussie way, this set is a MUST-HAVE. I have seen many pretend money sets before, but this is probably the most “useful” one due to the large quantity of play money included (from the smallest 5 cent to $100 note, with a total of 100 of them) ! I love how they replicate the true currency design on both sides of the cash (but with the words “Play Money” printed at the top, of course!). For example, the 50 cent coin is in the shape of 12-sided polygon, featuring the Commonwealth Coat of Arms on one side, and the reigning monarch Elizabeth II on the obverse. $10 note has Banjo Paterson on one side, and poet Dame Mary Gilmore on the reverse.

(2) Shopping Cards & Games - The set also includes 24 laminated shopping cards (with illustration of items and their prices printed on each card). The price tags range from the straightforward (eg $5 for a kite) to the slightly more challenging ones (eg $9.90 for a tennis set). There are 2 suggested games included, but feel free to make up your own games! We created so many “shopping” game versions, from the “I have $45 only dilemma”, “shop keeper with only coins for change”, and “discount day”). I love how versatile these resources are!

(3) Quality - The notes are made of synthetic paper with fantastic tear-resistant. The coins are made of light weight durable ABS plastic. I love the quality!

(4) Cash Drawer + Box - I also love the cash drawer with neat compartments moulded with coin denominations labels, and the sturdy storage box that keeps everything tidy and organised!

I love this product!

LOGICO Primo- Thinking Skills, by LOGICO - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Non-electronic educational game with frame + learning cards

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  3 year-old ++

Who would love this: Parents + young kids who enjoy learning through play!

We received a LOGICO Primo frame and learning card sets from LOGICO (Australia) for review, and we are THRILLED! We have a super exciting weekend testing out the “LOGICO Primo- Thinking Skills” set, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it today!

Why I love ❤️ this set:

(1) Clever & Engaging Educational Game - LOGICO is a cleverly-designed educational game with great expandable potential. It reminds me of an IPad learning game, but minus the negative effects associated with electronic device. It also reminds me of a traditional “draw a line to match” worksheet, but in a more entertaining and tactile way! I am amazed watching my three-year-old repeatedly performed and completed her “3-steps mental process” when resolving the puzzles: first, she identified the answer; next, she matched the colours; Lastly, she pushed the 6 colourful PRIMO buttons around the board to position them at their correct spots. It looks complex, yet somehow it makes sense to the kids!

(2) Perfect For 3-Year-Old & Above - The “Thinking Skills” set contains 16 engaging and age-appropriate logic games for a 3-year-old with appealing illustrations. We enjoyed the games, from “finding the missing part”, matching the right “tool” to an activity (eg scissors to craftwork), and identifying the “missing” object. I love that the level gets more challenging progressively; it started off with straightforward tasks, and gradually moves to something trickier that command greater thinking skills (eg the “match the butterflies” game requires kids to closely observe the differences between 6 butterflies that have substantially similar patterns and colours). There is never a dull moment with LOGICO!

(3) Self-Check Answers - Once the kids have resolved the puzzles, they can flip the learning cards over and compare the answers. The self-checking system is amazing. My girl LOVES that she can play with this independently!

(4) Quality - The PRIMO frame is light-weight but solid. The push buttons are easy to manoeuvre, and I love that it doesn’t have any loose components, meaning we can easily bring LOGICO around. It can be played in the car, on the couch, or anywhere!

Stay tuned for more reviews of LOGICO activity sets!

Diamond Quest, by SmartGames - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Clever logic game from SmartGames

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  10 year-old ++

Who would love this: Brainteasers / logic games lovers + SmartGames collectors

I haven’t yet seen a SmartGames that I don’t like; I am really impressed with the level of care, love and creativity involved in the creation of these splendid logical puzzles. Diamond Quest is another of my personal favourites that I love tremendously! Thanks Leisure Learning for providing this set for review!

Why I love ❤️ this game:

(1) Brainteaser With 13 Gems - Diamond Quest is a logical deduction puzzle with similar concept like Smart Cookies by FoxMind (reviewed on 7/4/2021) and Chocolate Fix by ThinkFun. But I think Diamond Quest elevates this game to a whole new exciting level; instead of playing on a tray of 3x3 grid, Diamond Quest comes with a game board in t-shaped formed around a classic 3x3 square. Instead of playing with 9 game components, Diamond Quest has 13 jewel pieces - 3 each of green, yellow, orange and blue (each with a different gemstone cuts - round, square and triangle), and a special red diamond with a pointed culet. The goal is to arrange the gems using the clues given in each of the 80 challenges in the spiral-bound booklet, and to identify the location of the red diamond through a series of deduction, elimination, and logical thinking. It is thought-provoking for adults, appealing to kids!

(2) Dazzlingly Beautiful - The chunky and dazzling gemstones design is such a clever idea! The kids were instantly captivated and entranced by these attractive and very sparkling jewels!

(3) Range of Difficulty Levels - Like many other SmartGames, the challenges progress from the easiest level (that can be done even by my 3 and 5 year-old), to the real expert level that will leave you mind-boggled and bewildered. The starter stage gives positive clues with clear visual representations where specific gems are to be placed; the challenges intensify and ramp up in complexity with incorporation of “negative clues” (ie what NOT to be placed at a certain position), and direction clues (eg no triangle gem next to another triangle gem). Solutions are provided. This is an awesome family game that suits all ages with fantastic replay value!

(4) Game Board With Lid - I love the travel-friendly game board with lid that can securely store all the pieces and the challenge booklet within.

Borax-Free Clay, By Mideer - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Non-sticky borax-free clay

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  3 year-old ++

Who would love this: Playdough lovers

I remember those sessions of colourful creations during childhood using factory-made playdough bought from stores - messy and sticky, a little pungent, dry and crunchy within a day or two once out of sealed packages. Being a mumma myself today, I can completely understand the ambivalent attitude of many parents when it comes to playdough. We discovered soon the magic of homemade playdough, the toxic-free and natural sort that gives us peace of mind. I had my initial doubt trying out the Mideer borax-free clay  I wasn’t too sure what to expect from another factory-manufactured clay, but boy, it sure felt different from my childhood-memory’s one!

Why I love ❤️ this toy:

(1) Borax-Free - The ingredients are listed in mandarin as these - “Water (水), Microspheres (微球), synthetic glue (合成糊剂), eco-friendly pigments 环保颜料.” I am no expert in playdough, but from the listed ingredients, the clay is probably nothing as natural as the homemade kind. I did some research on what “borax-free” means. According to Google, borax is an ingredient commonly found in household cleaning products, and a popular item to produce squishy and stretchy slime. It can be lethal if ingested, but the risk is apparently lower once it’s diluted in water and glue, but it’s definitely not zero risk. Borax is sometimes inserted in factory-made playdough to keep it fresher for a longer period. Mideer clay is made of Crerax technology with formulae to ensure the clay is both stretchable and completely boron-free.

(2) Non-Sticky - So how’s the texture like without borax as cross-linking agent? It’s impressive! The clay is non-sticky, mess-free, stretchable like what we usually found at the top of pizza, and extremely easy to clean up. It feels like somewhere in between slime and playdough; it’s lightweight, and easy to form shapes and structures.

(3) No Pungent Smell - It’s odourless.

(4) Awesome Bright Colours - The colours are bright, exciting, and made of eco-friendly pigments.

(5) Storage Box + Tools - I love the plastic storage box, five tools, and the graphic instructions (love the rainbow!).

This is an (unexpectedly) good product, probably can’t compare to the purity of homemade types, but a good product nonetheless.

My Wooden World Farm, By Londji - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Wooden Farm Set in a Creative Box

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  2 year-old ++

Who would love this: Kids with big imagination + love farm / small world creation

Today I want to talk about this extremely beautiful toy - “My Wooden World Farm” by Londji . This toy is overloading with cuteness that could melt your heart like sugary butter on toasts! Thank you Antipoda Co for providing another enchanting Londji set.

Why I love ❤️ this toy:

(1) Cute, Cute & Cute - This toy is TOO adorable to take my eyes off! Everything is curvy and round, stackable, cartoonish, and make us smile. Included within are 10 separate wooden pieces to set up a charming scenery of farm; we love our created story of a grumpy milk cow (who refuses to leave the warmth of the hay bale), and its baby calf who loves nothing more than counting the number of apples at the top of the orchard tree and playing hide-and-seek with her best mates Pink the Piglet and Red-Crown the Rooster. We had some internal disputes between ourselves whether Bob the Farmer has two brown horses, or whether they are actually a bull and a brown calf (we settled down on “horses” in the end). The exaggerated  roundness and symbolic design might make it a little challenging to tell the difference between a horse and a bull, but that sure doesn’t change how much we enjoy creating our small-world tales with these lovely pieces. My three-year-old is absolutely loving this toy. It was very amusing listening to her narrating a funny story about a farm in the rainbow-rain.

(2) Cleverly-Designed Box - I love the clever convertible box that can unfold and transform itself from a 3D farmhouse, into a farm with fields and vegetable allotments completes with a pond with lily pads. I love the changeable landscapes and scenes.

(3) Wooden Material - The playset pieces are made of beechwood from sustainable forests and water-based stains. As usual, Londji products are manufactured in Spain, and meet the European Toy Safety Standard EN71. I love the aesthetically-pleasing design, great craftsmanship, the heirloom quality, and the unique packaging.

(4) Extra Touch of Cleverness - I love the extra touch of cleverness; the tree stump that works cheekily as a closure knob for the packaging box, and the cotton drawstring bag that keeps everything organised and neatly together.

Love this irresistibly cute toy from Londji!

Football Natural Wood Brainteaser, By Funyards Australia - REVIEW

Nature/ Type:          Wooden brainteaser

Rating:                     ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recommended age:  7 year-old ++

Who would love this: Puzzle and brainteaser lovers (for adults and older kids)

I am in love with the wisdom of these range of classic brainteasers; the smart interlocking system, clever connectedness, and the flawless way the structure holds itself together. One of our latest love is this Football Natural Wood Brainteaser kindly provided by Funyards Australia - we are really impressed with the ingenuity of the design despite having repeatedly “solved” this puzzle multiple times!

Why I love ❤️ this brainteaser:

(1) Fascinating Brainteaser - This fascinating puzzle consists of 9 precision-cut pieces that can interlink themselves into a football-shaped structure (my kids think it looks like a massive solid “potato” and a “crusty sourdough” 🤣). The pieces connect with each other perfectly with their concave and convex design, and a final “key” stick that slides and fits nicely onto the remaining gap, turning the individual pieces into a single artistically-looking geometric-shaped item. This brainteaser is not easy to solve for the first-timer, but once we discovered the tricks and secrets, it is super addictive to do and re-do this, over and over. It’s so mesmerising watching the interlock mechanism works in such impeccable way!

(2) Solution Provider - An illustrative solution is provided with step-by-step guide to solve this tricky little puzzle. And if you think that this is still not clear enough, we also found a few YouTube instruction videos that provide solutions to this football-shaped brainteaser.

(3) Wooden Material - I love the sturdy rubber wooden material. The puzzle pieces are durable, elegantly-crafted with great craftsmanship, function well, solid,  and completes with smooth-finishes. I think this made a fantastic gift and precious collectible for any brainteaser lover!

(4) Decorative Item - This wooden football makes a beautiful decorative item at home, and will sure entertain any puzzle-loving guests, and keep your brain readily active!

Thank you Funyards Australia , I can’t wait to explore more of such similar ingenious brainteasers!
