Why I love ❤️ it:
(1) Classic Monopoly Game In Festive Christmas Theme
Classic Monopoly rules… with a Christmas glow-up. You still throw two dice, buy properties, and try not to go bankrupt - but now everything is wrapped in festive cheer. Players can choose from six bespoke Christmas-themed tokens (reindeer and snowman, anyone?), instantly setting the holiday mood. The game board is transformed into a winter wonderland of Christmas lands with festive names, yet all the familiar drama remains: jail, bankruptcy, and even tax. Except now your least favourite taxman is rebranded as “Scrooge Tax”, and landing on it still slaps you with a brutal $200. Same rules, same strategy - just a lot more joy and nostalgia for family game night.
(2) Everything Is Christmas Related - Mistletoe, Reindeer, Elves & More
The game board is a festive treat. Every property has been renamed with holiday flair - think Mistletoe, Advent Calendar, Christmas Baubles, Bethlehem, Manger, and Roast Potatoes! Railroads are replaced with Reindeer - Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and more. The more reindeer you own, the better your yield. Utilities get a makeover too: Electric Company and Water Works are now Elves and Chimneys. They don’t get houses or hotels, but rent is determined by your dice roll — 4x with one, 10x with both. Festive and strategic!
(3) Christmas Crackers & Santa Sack Cards With Holiday-Themed Surprises
The cards are my favourite part. Chance and Community Chest become Christmas Crackers and Santa Sack, filled with holiday-themed surprises. Online shopping going well? Pocket $50. End up on Santa’s naughty list? Off to jail. A Christmas outfit sets you back $100, but an elf-a-like contest might earn you a very modest $10. It’s silly, seasonal fun at its best.
(4) Cool Pewter Tokens - Reindeer, Turkey, Elf, Santa, Snowman & Pudding!
The Christmas-themed pewter tokens (Reindeer, Turkey, Elf, Santa, Snowman, Christmas Pudding) are gorgeous. Instead of houses and hotels, you build Grottos and Workshops, and even the cash is sprinkled with snowflakes. Thoughtful, charming, and beautifully done.
