If you haven’t heard yet, Localmingo is a new travel platform (founded in Melbourne) connecting travellers of all styles, personalities, and languages with their perfect local guide.
Founded in May 2026 and launched just over four months ago, the platform has already grown to feature local guides - affectionately known as “Locallers”—across seven regions in Australia, with Auckland, New Zealand, being its newest destination.
As of September 2026, there are a total of 199 listings on the platform, and it’s exciting to see what comes next!
Whether you’re travelling with a big group of friends, family, your partner, or exploring on your own, there’s something for every kind of traveller.
