“Periodic Table” used to bring back my school-day nightmares… never in a million years did I think I’d be hooked on exploring the mysterious 118 chemical elements 😆 But Best Learning i-Poster: My Periodic Table is simply unreal!
Why I love ❤️ it:
(1) Learn 118 Chemical Elements With A Smart Talking Poster
In short: this is a TALKING poster where you simply point to a button to learn. There are 3 mode buttons. “Element Name” mode — learn the element’s name, symbol, atomic number, and mass. For example, press on iron and it tells you it’s a chemical element with the symbol Fe, atomic no. 26, atomic mass 55.845. “Element Group” mode — eg press “Group 5” and it explains these are transition metals — thick, strong, and not easy to melt. “Elements Fun Facts” — my personal favourite! We learned that mercury is the only metal liquid at room temperature, and gold and copper are the only two metals that aren’t gray in their natural form. Mind blown!
(2) Periodic Song- Learn The Basics & Fun Facts With A Catchy Tune
The BEST feature — the Periodic Table Song button! Such a catchy way to learn the basics. “The universe is made from atoms, and elements are things made of just one kind…” It gives a fun rundown of common elements and their uses — aluminum for planes, chlorine for swimming pools, helium for balloons. It even teaches how to read the table: left to right, hydrogen first, going down the row they get heavier by number.
(3) Three Quiz Modes + Hints Provided When You Got It Wrong
THREE quiz modes to match the learning modes! Level 1: Find an element by basic info — e.g. “Find the element with atomic mass 145.” Level 2: Group challenge — “Which group does Oganesson belong to?” Level 3: Fun fact detective — e.g. “Which element looks silver and shiny and is used to coat objects to prevent rust?” (Answer: nickel!) I love the gentle hints when you get it wrong!
(4) Huge & Colourful Poster - Hang It On Wall / Lay It On Table
It’s HUGE! Lay it on a table or hang it on the wall. There’s a guide explaining atomic number, discovery year, symbol, plus neutron, proton & electron relationships. Each element shows if it’s solid, liquid (blue mark), gas (white mark), radioactive (neon green) etc. Bottom left explains group colours — eg dark blue (e.g. lithium) are alkali metals (soft & reactive). Bonus: volume control AND 3 AAA batteries included.
