“Thomas and Friends Big Loader” from Tomy! This is one nostalgic train set which apparently existed since the 90s or earlier. When fixed and placed correctly, the little moving engine would run around collecting the different train bodies, loading and unloading tiny “coals”, climbing up and rolling down the tracks. Pretty cool, sometimes frustrating, but the boy doesn’t seem to mind the few failed attempts.
Why I love it? ❤️
(1) Building Time: The boy loves setting the tracks up and he’s getting better each time (encourages patience and promotes the golden rule of “practice makes perfect) 😊 .
(2) Fun Move-able Trains: Once they are correctly fitted, it’s super addictive to watch the engine moving around and getting busy. Even our baby was entirely absorbed in the non-stop movement!
The toy pieces do need a little space to set up, and the little coals can be a choking hazard for smaller kids.
